Minden waterway junction

At Minden you will find this almost unique architectural monument. It contains of two bridge like constructions, which are used as a Canal overpass or aqueduct for crossing a waterway with another one. By lowering or rising in nearby locks, ships can switch from the Mittelland Canal to the river Weser.
