The Uncovered Bridge (Den Genfundne Bro).

In 1899 a 50 m long railwaybridge was erected to span over the Gudenå river. At this time the building was the tallest railway bridge in the Nordic countries. During the first half of the 20. century the railway route became obsolete. Instead of a beeing scrapped, the bridge was covered with soil to create a dam in 1929, and therefore became buried for 85 years. Finally in 2014, the bridge was excaveted and later restored to its former appearence. Since then The Uncovered Bridge is not only a symbol of industrial engineering, but a great and unique tourist attraction in the area.
